For years, we have been part of the same circles, yet our paths never crossed. From our parents decade long cook club to our siblings playing soccer together to coaching summer league swim the same years, we still never met. Our moms tried more than once to set us up but the timing never aligned.

Until, Lauren booked a last-minute flight to join the Meehans and Joneses on their trip to Santa Barbara. From the very first night, sitting across from each other at dinner, we instantly knew our moms had been right!

This trip was nothing short of perfect, we quickly became the only two people in room. From a wine and bike tour to delicious dinners to long walks on the beach, it felt like a movie!

After the trip, Caleb reached out, and our relationship quickly turned into a long-distance adventure—hopping on a flight every chance we could up and down the East Coast. Then, in September, everything changed when Lauren accepted a new job in Birmingham, allowing us

to finally be in the same city. Caleb flew up to New York, packed up her things, and together they made the 15-hour road trip to Birmingham.

Caleb proposed in Huntsville on March 14! It was an absolutely wonderful day!
