Our Wedding

Photos

For years, we have been part of the same circles, yet our paths never crossed. From our parents decade long cook club to our siblings playing soccer together to coaching summer league swim the same years, we still never met. Our moms tried more than once to set us up but the timing never aligned.

Until, Lauren booked a last-minute flight to join the Meehans and Joneses on their trip to Santa Barbara. From the very first night, sitting across from each other at dinner, we instantly knew our moms had been right!

This trip was nothing short of perfect, we quickly became the only two people in room. From a wine and bike tour to delicious dinners to long walks on the beach, it felt like a movie! After the trip, Caleb reached out, and our relationship quickly turned into a long-distance adventure—hopping on a flight every chance we could up and down the East Coast. Then, in September, everything changed when Lauren accepted a new job in Birmingham, allowing usto finally be in the same city. Caleb flew up to New York, packed up her things, and together they made the 15-hour road trip to Birmingham.

Caleb proposed in Huntsville on March 14! It was an absolutely wonderful day!

To our parents, thank you for showing us what love looks like lived out daily in marriage. Thank you for supporting us in countless ways—from the many phone calls about wedding details to generously giving your time to celebrate with us. And from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for introducing us to each other. As they say, “Mothers know best!” To our siblings, each of you has played a significant role in shaping who we are today. Thank you for being our very best friends. You have each modeled for us the love and character that Christ first showed. To Molly Grace, Kendra, and Sophie, thank you, first and foremost, for your friendship. This past year would not have been the same without your mentorship. Thank you for serving your church community so faithfully—this day would not be possible without your sacrifice. To each of you reading this: you’ve played a meaningful role in our lives and impacted us in ways we cannot even begin to describe. We’re truly grateful for every moment, every memory, and every bit of support. Our wish for you today is simple — celebrate big and dance the night away with us!
